The whole experience was great for the soul. I have made new friends who are now my go to activity buddies. I highly recommend it to your inner child!

Summer Camp is all about playing exciting, sneaky, funny outdoor games! These include Seektag, Capture the Flag, Steal the Loot and Monster Tracking, as well as chill activities like building lego and campfire time! You can take part in any or all of our games, or just enjoy the forest and the vibe!

Accomodation
Choose between a bunkhouse or camping ticket. There are plenty of good spots for tents and lots of trees for hammocks. All tickets include access to toilets and hot showers
Food
Delicious food is included in your ticket! All of our food is vegetarian and is made with love using only the best ingredients. Please make us aware of any allergies when you book
Travel by Train
We are 25mins by train from London Liverpool Street to Broxborne (usually a £12 ticket). Let us know your arrival time and we will pick you up from the station
Travel by Car
Use postcode EN11 8GG, following signs for Danemead Scout Campsite. Let us know when you arrive and we'll open the gate. Park in the large circular carpark
What should I bring?
Outdoor/walking/trail shoes, a sleeping bag and pillow, phone with charger, towel, torch, water bottle, warm layers for the evening and a waterproof layer just in case
Everyone Welcome
PlayCulture events are a safe space and everyone is welcome. We are LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly and have a zero-tolerance policy for any negative behaviour.
Do I need to be athletic?
You don't need to be an athlete but some of our games are quite physical. Having said that there are lots of different ways to play - some people like to run like hell, while others like to get more creative!
Can I bring my children/pets?
PlayCulture events are for adults only (sorry no kids or pets allowed!)

* Please note that we may film or take photos at our events, either for promotion or for our YouTube channel

The extremely welcoming and wholesome vibes, the beyond awesome people that you could connect with immediately, I could let out my inner kid again... but surrounded by smart adults with none of the kid drama and all of the mad strategizing instead!
